Lingerie ♥ Boux Avenue

Truth be told, it wasn't until a few years ago that I started to take an interest in what I wore underneath my clothes - not that I didn't wear underwear, but I simply limited myself to a bland t-shirt bra in either black, white or nude.
But having discovered the likes of Boux Avenue and their beautiful range of lingerie, I knew it was time to turn my back on the boring basics and invest in the pretty and playful frills and fabrics that lingerie had to offer.

I love the retro style of this cornflower blue and white Fleure Cotton Longline Bra and matching Fleure Cotton Briefs set, it suits all shapes and sizes (especially my rather small chest), and features a floral pattern, frill detail along each cup and a white ribbon to the centre - oh so feminine!
The cotton material and mesh back is 'lightweight' and soft against the skin, perfect for the spring/summer months,  and the design also provides comfort, support and a high quality, hook fastening.

Now you can go purchase a £4 bra if you like, but I can guarantee that if the straps don't snap, and the stitching doesn't come loose, that you'll be looking at three or four washes, before that once 'bargain bra' will become a waste of money when it loses both its shape and colour.
 'Buy cheap, buy twice'.

Lingerie is personal, it's something for the eyes of you and, (if you have one) your other half. 
But that doesn't mean to say you should pay less attention to detail where your choice of underwear is concerned, just because there are fewer eyes on it.

Invest in a set that makes you look gorgeous and feel confident both with and without your clothes on...even if it's just for you or that someone special ♥

  3. So so beautiful! And i totally agree with 'buy cheap, buy twice'. Underwear is usually so delicate anyway, why would anyone scrimp?! And I reckon it's true that if you're happy with your underwear, you feel great in anything!

  8. I bought this for my mom. She wanted to replace her old posture bra (same model and brand). She liked very much, but she said it was a bit small. I think that is because it is shape wear. If you don't want to struggle to stretch it out, select 1 size bigger, but keep the cup size. I plan to order wonderbra strapless lace
